The breadboards just arrived in perfect condition--and they are simply beautiful.
The exquisite wood grain is as striking as the pattern you see on the back of a violin or a really fancy guitar. I love the way the central round is distinctly raised above the border. The deep gutter for crumbs is a genius idea. And the carved wheat stalks are so graceful.
What more can I say? Aha! The heft of the boards is very satisfying.

Ordered a house sign from Steve. Just what I wanted but better. What makes it more special is that he hand carved it and painted it to our specifications. He kept me updated through the whole process. Worth every penny, which wasn’t as much as I thought! Care and attention to detail too. I love it!
I have just received my house sign and I couldn't be more pleased. Steve gave me many designs to choose from and I am delighted with the one I chose. I live on the south coast of England and the sign arrived well wrapped and secure. I would highly recommend Steve a brilliant woodcarver so if you need a special gift go to The Woodcarver you will not be disappointed.
Gave Jane the parcel on Saturday night and she opened it....and looked pleased...but then we saw she was looking at the carved back of the board. Stewart told her to turn it over - and she then burst into tears (and Stewart welled up too as Jane is one of his oldest and dearest friends). She just loved it, and was so thrilled - as was the whole party as she proudly showed it to one and all. I can't tell you how happy you made her. Thank you so much.
